Poor air quality & excess humidity in South River, Ontario

In South River, ON, a customer faced a serious issue with a large tear in their crawl space’s moisture barrier, which led to excess humidity and poor air quality. As seen in the photo, the damaged liner allowed moisture to seep in, creating ideal conditions for mold growth and potential structural damage.

To resolve the problem, we installed our CleanSpace® encapsulation system, complete with Drainage Matting, a SmartDrain™ leak detection system, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SmartDrain™ offers added peace of mind by detecting plumbing leaks beneath the liner and alerting the homeowner, while also channeling water safely away from the space.

This combination of systems not only stopped the moisture intrusion but also helped prevent future issues and significantly improved indoor air quality.
