Shihied Porter brings years of hands-on experience to his role as a Foreman at Basement Systems Toronto. Before joining the team, he worked as a contractor, completing full basement, kitchen, and bathroom renovations. Originally from Zimbabwe, Shihied completed his apprenticeship as a toolmaker, became a certified welder, and later worked in mining where he and his crew built four gold processing plants and several stamp mill installations.
Shihied enjoys the variety his role brings; meeting new customers, working with his hands, and installing a range of products tailored to each home. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife and children, learning more about his field, and supporting his kids at their competitive soccer games and practices.
