Serious crawl space problems resolved in Cameron, ON

A homeowner in Cameron, ON was dealing with serious crawl space problems that were affecting the entire house. Moisture had led to mold growth, wood rot, insulation damage, higher energy bills and a persistent musty odor. The floors above the crawl space had also begun to sag due to weakened joists and beams. After a full inspection, our team designed a complete solution to restore comfort, safety and efficiency. We encapsulated the crawl space with the CleanSpace™ system and drainage matting, installed the SmartSump® Crawl Space Sump Pump to control groundwater, and added SilverGlo™ Wall Insulation to improve energy performance while keeping moisture out. To address the structural issues, SmartJack® supports were put in place to stabilize and lift the floors. Once the work was complete the crawl space was clean, dry, well insulated and structurally sound, with noticeable improvements throughout the home including fresher air, reduced odors and lower energy costs.
